What does Tsuneishi study
on in the middle of 2004? |
He
concentrates to analyze Research Report on Epidemic Prevention, Part 2, which
was published since 1939 by Army Medical College’s Epidemic Prevention Research Laboratory (EPRL). EPRL was founded
in 1032 by Ishii Shiro who is notorious as the Commander of the 731 Unit
which conducted experiment on humans in China to kill about 3,000 innocent
people since 1933. |
Tsuneishi’s
first published book was The biological warfare unit which disappeared:
The 731 Unit (Kaimeisha Book Ltd, 1981, in Japanese), which is the
first research output from the science historical approach in Japan. |
Since the
first book on the 731 Unit, he published several books in Japanese, but his
final book on this topic was The 731 Unit: The real crime of biological
weapon (Kodansha) of 1995. |
Now Tsuneishi
restarts after 10 years blank to complete his research on the 731 Unit
through the analysis of Research Report on Epidemic Prevention, Part 2. |
In 1989, many
of human bones was discovered the construction site of Japanese National
Institute of Infectious Diseases, where The Army Medical College located
since 1929 to 1945. About 4 months before the discovery of human bones,
Tsuneishi moved from Nagasaki, known as a city bombed by the second atomic
bomb, to Kanagawa, prefecture next to Tokyo. |
These bones
was settled down in the facility prepared by the Ministry of Health, Welfare
and Labor in 2002. The measure
of the Ministry might be brought by the public opinion that bones had to be
from the victims by unethical medical experiments conducted by Japanese
Army’s medical doctors. |
Tsuneishi has
been a representative of the glass roots group to demand to identify each
born to return birth country or place them since 1990. He hopes to describe
Today’s history from the viewpoint of these human bones. |
